Milwaukee is full of magnificent man-made marvels and natural wonders that simply must be seen with your own eyes. Whether it’s going on a hike through the most beautiful scenery or visiting a hidden museum that nearly no one knows about, these 12 incredible places in Milwaukee are worth your time.
1. Seven Bridges
Seven Bridges is a South Milwaukee gem that’s a mix of man-made and natural beauty. This hiking trail is a part of the Milwaukee County Parks system and features trails weaving in and out of Grant Park. 2. Holy Hill
This hill just north of Milwaukee is so much more than a hill; it’s holy ground with breathtaking views. The incredible shrine hosts over half a million visitors each year, whether to attend mass or just
experience this marvel in person.
3. Basilica of St. Josaphat
The Basilica holds a lot of rich history in Milwaukee. Polish immigrants came here and settled on Milwaukee's south side and built this Polish-Cathedral style of church modeled after St. Peter's Basilica of Rome. This cathedral is still a place of worship today, and this beautiful sanctuary has become a Milwaukee landmark.
4. Black Cat Alley
This street alley art gallery on the east side is a popular photo-op and is full of incredible art. Whether you've strolled by, snapped a few photos, or felt upset over the vandalism that's happened, Milwaukeeans know and love Black Cat Alley. 5. South Shore Park
This park is an excellent way to experience Milwaukee.
South Shore Park offers amazing views of the lake and downtown, and there's no better place to stop and take a breather from life or have a drink at their beer garden!

This awesome museum is a must-see for any biker! Take a stroll through the history of Harley-Davidson and even virtually build your own bike with their simulator. This museum teaches you absolutely everything you need to know about Harley-Davidson and the history of motorcycles in general.
7. Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear
This hidden Milwaukee gem is a unique little museum within an old neighborhood house. The little-known spot is actually a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the history of Milwaukee during the World Wars and displays items from the 1910s-1940s. This amazing museum shows collections from all walks of Milwaukee's past. It's truly a sight to be seen!
8. Mitchell Park Domes
The Domes have a special place in a Milwaukeeans heart. If you went to school in Milwaukee, you probably went on a field trip here once or twice, and as an adult, you may have even had a friend get married here. These domes are a beloved part of Milwaukee, which was proven when they were saved from the threat of closure a few years ago. You must experience

9. North Point Lighthouse
This local treasure has been guiding ships home since 1855.
North Point Lighthouse is one of Milwaukee's most stunning attractions and is located in the beautiful Lake Park at 2650 N. Wahl Avenue in Milwaukee. It is open to visitors on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
10. Discovery World
Discovery World tops off our city skyline. The circular building is easy to spot and it somehow pulls everything together. 11. Milwaukee Art Museum
The Milwaukee Art Museum is arguably the most well-known piece of architecture in our city. The wings on the "Calatrava" move every day and the whole structure is truly a work of art in itself, which just makes the art collection inside that much more magical. There’s nothing more unique than this incredible building on our shoreline.
12. Mary Nohl's Art Environment
The "Witch's House," as some call, it is actually
an amazing work of art by Mary Nohl . This interesting house is a National Registered Landmark, and although there currently aren't tours offered, it's a fascinating sight to see from the sidewalk. This eclectic home in Fox Point has been watched, loved, and talked about for decades, and we hope it continues for many more.
