Alex Meraz was born in Mesa and went to school in Tempe before making his debut in Terrance Malick’s 2005 film, The New World. If you watched the Twilight series, you’ve probably already seen Meraz shirtless numerous times.
Did you know she was born in Tucson before relocating to San Francisco? Barbara Eden’s role as the title character in I Dream of Jeannie certainly earned her a spot as one of the many beautiful people to hail from our state.

Born in Scottsdale and an alumna of the Valley Youth Theatre, Emma Stone first entered the public eye with her film debut in the 2007 film, Superbad.

You may not be too familiar with Movita Castaneda’s work unless you’re a major film buff, but she is best known as Marlon Brando’s second wife between 1960 and 1962. She was born in Nogales and first started her acting career in the 1930s. Castaneda passed away earlier this year from a neck injury.
