From the delicious BBQ, wide open lands, and the friendly people, there’s a lot to miss about Texas when you leave, so why not just stay forever instead?! I can’t fathom why someone would want to leave anyway, but if you do, you will undeniably miss these integral parts of Texas.
Other states can try to imitate our mouth-watering BBQ, but it will never compare to the way we do it here in Texas. Not even close...
Sure, other states have wide open spaces, but aside from Alaska, where else can you find such an abundance of untouched nature like you can here?

Yep, I think this picture says it all. You might find it in other states, but it won't feel quite the same as getting it from the homeland.

I think this hits home for every former Texan...like how could you give this up? I just don't get it..
You know you wouldn't want to stop anywhere else for a bathroom break. Plus, those Beaver Nuggets; who could resist?!
Grocery shopping just isn't the same anywhere else. HEB rules, period.
And a summer spent without splashing around at the #1 waterpark in the country is just plain wrong. You can go to other waterparks, sure, but you can only ride the Master Blaster at our very own Schlitterbahn.

Okay, so you can find Whataburgers in 10 states, but of course it will always be the best in the state where it was founded!

Other states might claim to be beautiful, but Texas will always win, hands down.
And who could forget about what really makes Texas great - the people! Our hospitable, caring nature is what really sticks out and makes Texas worth visiting (and living in).
Just like Whataburger, other states have them (I think), but these little pastries are deeply ingrained in the Texas Czech culture, which is what makes them so special...and yummy.
Fredericksburg, Jefferson, Round Top, Nederland...those are a handful of cute towns with character that I can think of off the top of my head. There's just something about tiny Texas towns with a rich heritage...
The State Fair of Texas, plus all the fun festivals going on year-round, make our state simply unforgettable.
