Sometimes, you just want to hit the trails in Georgia and not make it a whole day affair. That’s perfectly acceptable. If you want to get in a bit of Georgia nature but don’t want to spend the entire day doing so, then we have the perfect hike for you. It’s short, sweet and leads to incredible waterfall views—perfect for the whole family. Take a look…
In order to reach the trailhead, it is worth knowing that there is a 5+ mile gravel/dirt road which you must tackle first. It’s worth it, but make sure to prepare accordingly. To get to the trail, hikers are encouraged to head to the Three Forks parking area in Fannin County, Blue Ridge, Georgia. From there, to the east, you’ll find the trail to Long Creek Falls.
