The town of Chester, Connecticut was settled in 1692. It has changed dramatically since its establishment as a ship building and mill town. This rural community embraces the small town way of life. With many quaint shops, stunning parks, bubbling waterfalls, and friendly residents, this place may best be described as a little slice of heaven on Earth.
Chester is located on the hillside of the Connecticut River. The town celebrates the arts, outdoors, history, community, and conversation. You will find many creative people that have taken up residence in this picturesque New England town.
