Winter this year in Oklahoma has proven to be just as wild as always. One day last week you could have gone to breakfast in flip-flops and by dinnertime needed a parka, scarf and beanie. Well, today is another one of those days to bundle up because it’s going to be colder here than it is in Antarctica.

Another arctic blast has hit the state and it's bitterly cold. In fact, temperatures are in the single digits and wind chills are below zero in many areas. Several schools have closed today because it's too cold to be outside for any length of time.

Some parts of the state will see rain, sleet, snow or ice. Check your local forecast to stay up to date on your area.
