Whether we’re currently traveling or have moved away from the city on a longer-term basis, these 14 sights, smells, tastes, and references will bring on a wave of nostalgia for any Bostonian:
The sight of iconic buildings like the John Hancock Tower and the Prudential Center Tower make us wistful for Boston, or serve as proof that we are finally home when returning from a trip.
Intensely colored foliage is synonymous with New England, especially in Boston. Autumn is a pretty season in many parts of the country, but here, it's particularly dazzling.
