So when elderly patients began dying rapidly at the former Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton, an investigation was launched and a culprit was found.

It was found that a nurse at the hospital, Orville Lynn Majors, was killing patients by injecting them with epinephrine and potassium chloride. Majors was found guilty of six counts of murder, though many believe he was responsible for the deaths of more than 100 patients over the years. A witness claimed Majors committed these killings because he didn't like the elderly.

Majors was sentenced to 360 years in prison and passed away last September. Though the Angel of Death, as he was dubbed, no longer haunts the hospital in Clinton, his terrifying actions are still felt in this small community.
