Boston Latin School, the first school in the whole country, is located in our city. To this day, it remains the top school in Massachusetts (according to U.S. News) and in the top 50 schools in the country.
2. We're surrounded by history.

History isn’t relegated to the past in Boston; it’s literally brought to life during regular reenactments. Even kids who aren’t that into history get a kick out of watching a reenactment of the ultimate act of rebellion: the Boston Tea Party.
3. There are parks everywhere.

Green spaces big and small abound in Boston, so there is no shortage of fun places to play.
4. We can spend summer at the beach without going out of town.

There are several beaches in Boston itself, and many more stretches of soft sand within easy day tripping distance.
