1. We hang our lights up in September in case December is 30 below zero.

2. We have an outside Christmas tree AND an inside Christmas tree.

3. We cut down a 100-foot tall spruce, keep the top 6 feet for the Christmas tree, and buck up the rest into firewood.

4. We visit ice sculpture parks.

5. We wake up in the middle of the night when the sky lights up with Christmas lights, too!

6. We go out ice skating on the frozen lakes.

7. And we play Christmas hockey outside.

8. We visit Santa at his house... because it's right here in North Pole, Alaska!

9. We eat salmon for Christmas... because we ALWAYS eat wild Alaskan salmon!

10. We decorate the antlers on the wall.

11. Santa travels by dog-sled, 4-wheeler, as well as the traditional sleigh.
