The center is located right on the Pascagoula River, where you'll find a marsh full of birds and animals, and some spectacular scenery.
Take a short hike to explore the grounds; there are 10 wooded acres here.
There's even an adorable play garden for the little ones.
Stroll down to the observation deck that overlooks Rhodes Bayou, and bring your camera to capture the stunning views and wildlife.
Rent a kayak so you can get right down on the water to explore.
You can even rent a kayak for two!
If you'd rather sit back and let someone else do the steering, take a guided cruise.

The 5,000-square foot interpretive center has aquariums, displays, and plenty of information about the habitat along the river. You'll also find an art gallery inside, with work from local artists.
