Ed Walker's has been serving their famous French Dips for nearly 75 years. It's the last drive-in to offer curbside beer in Arkansas. They also have the largest single-patty burger in the state at a whopping 5-lbs. Unless you're already familiar with Ed Walker's, you may have not heard about the hubcap burger since it's intended for sharing instead of a solo competition item.

The famous McClard BBQ sauce is what jump started the little gas station and diner into the restaurant we know now. Four generations of McClard's have kept the business prospering and winning numerous awards. Slather on that sauce on ribs, beef, or pork.

Originally known as Mount Air Cafe, Myrtie established a home-style chicken dinner cafe that has stayed strong and delicious in Eureka Springs for almost a century. The cafe has breakfast, lunch, and dinner but anytime is a fine time for her famous Ozark fried chicken.

The White Pig Inn has gotten some remodels over the years but their tasty barbecue has stayed scrumptious. That's because the original hickory wood fire pit is still used and operated by the third generation of the Seaton family. Taste their perfected barbecue recipes by ordering a pulled pork platter or an unbeatable rack of ribs.

Franke's began as a simple donut shop in 1919, upgraded into a bakery and then became a full-fledged cafeteria. Franke's has stayed a family business on its third generation and has expanded to three locations. Lassis Inn was originally established in 1905 but has been in their current location since 1930. Technicalities aside, this no-fuss catfish joint is super tasty. You don't need to fret over an endless menu since the selection is simply different cuts of catfish, buffalo (the fish), and sides.

Generations of the Jones family have been serving barbecue in some version of the diner since the 1910s. This makes them the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Arkansas! They're also the only place in the state to be honored with James Beard Award, which is a huge deal in the foodie community. Taste for yourself with a chopped pork sandwich.

The 2nd oldest restaurant in Arkansas has some first-class food. They're listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Jasper Commercial Historic District. Try one of their specialties like the deep-fried burger or the Excaliburger (a 1/2-lb burger sandwiched between two cheese sandwiches). They're open for three meals a day, seven days a week.

The oldest restaurant in the state was originally built in 1907 and owned by Hristos Hodjopulas, from Greece. The cafe has gone through many owners and remodels but continues to bring in hungry visitors. The on-sight lounge features the largest selection of imported beer in all of Southern Arkansas. They have just about everything: burgers, steaks, Mexican and seafood.
