Nevadans have a lot of pride for the greatest state in the country. Even if you weren’t born here, living in the Silver State will make you think and act a certain way. As such, there are several things no self-respecting Nevadan would ever do. How many of these do you agree with?
1. Mispronounce Nevada.
For the umpteenth time, it's "add" not "odd."
2. Refer to 31 October as Halloween.
It's Nevada Day!
3. Let a little warm weather bother us.
Remember, it's a dry heat.
4. Let a little winter weather ruin our plans.
It's just snow.
5. Root for any conference team other than the Running Rebels or the Wolfpack.
And only root for just one of those. Can't have both. Sorry.
6. Spend the winter indoors.
With tremendous skiing and snowboarding at Lake Tahoe and Lee Canyon, what's a little snow?
7. Spend the summer indoors.
From hiking to rock climbing to fishing to boating to exploring this gorgeous state, there's so much to see and do.
8. Take nature for granted.
Nevada has some of the most beautiful places on the planet.
9. Park in the sun.
Especially in Las Vegas during the summer.
10. NOT watch where we step.
That could hurt. A lot.
11. Invite people to move here.
Visit, absolutely.
12. Turn down an adventure.
If it's there, we will climb it. Or hike it. Or...
13. Ever consider living anywhere else.
Anywhere else.
