Kentucky is known for many unique attractions, from massive caves to epic horse races. One such attraction is somewhat new to our state and has gotten quite a bit of attention, and this holiday season, it’s bound to be even more popular. The Ark Encounter in Williamstown brings Noah’s Ark to life and this Christmas will light up with a spectacular display for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Through the holiday, the grounds around the Ark are free to visit. That means you can spend time with the animals at the Ararat Ridge Zoo, enjoy a meal at Emzara’s Restaurant, shop at the gift shop and fair trade market, and more. There is a $10 charge for parking, and the typical admission price to go inside the Ark, so keep that in mind.
On top of that, the ChristmasTime Event runs November 23rd through December 30th from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m..

New for 2018, you can ice skate right next to the huge ark! The new, state-of-the-art Glice® rink is made of a synthetic material that lets you glide along just like real ice - but it can remain open no matter what the temperature. Ice skate for just $5 all day long during the holiday season.
