There are just some areas of this amazing world that are full of incredible beauty, and Nevada definitely has no shortage of unimaginably beautiful places. Here are ten truly gorgeous places in the Silver State you simply must place on your bucket list.
1. Bonsai Rock, Lake Tahoe

2. Valley of Fire, Overton
Named for its brilliant red rock formations that appear to be aflame when hit by the sun, Valley of Fire is Nevada's largest and oldest state park. The rock formations and the layered and swirled colors are truly exquisite.
3. Lake Tahoe
Truly, Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful places in the entire state. This alpine lake that straddles the border between Nevada and California has so many gorgeous areas, and each season brings new and incredible beauty.
4. Fly Geyser, Washoe County
Located near Gerlach on the edge of Black Rock Desert, this accidentally man-made geothermal geyser is as unique as it is beautiful.
5. Carson River, Dayton
This part of the Carson Lake near Dayton is even more spectacular during the autumn months when the fall foliage is in its full splendor.
6. Lehman Caves, Great Basin National Park, Baker
This stunning single cavern (despite its name) extends a quarter of a mile into the limestone and marble at the base of the Snake Range. Loaded with stalactites, stalagmites, columns, flowstone, draperies, soda straws, and shields, you'll swear you're on another planet. If you've never been to Lehman Caves, you must go and witness this splendor in person.
7. Little Finland, Clark County
In a remote area southwest of Mesquite is Little Finland. Also known as Devil's Fire or Hobgoblin's Playground, this collection of intricate red and orange sandstone rock formations is amazing and reminiscent of a fairy tale.
8. Jarbidge Wilderness, Elko County
Located in extreme northeast Nevada, this 113,000-acre wilderness is full of mountains, lakes, creeks, and rivers. With over 100 miles of hiking trails, you can explore this stunning and largely untouched stunning area.
9. Truckee River, Downtown Reno
The combination of Reno's unique architecture and the rippling Truckee River makes this area incredibly gorgeous. Enjoy a jaunt down the Reno River Walk to take in the full beauty of the area.
10. The top of the Stratosphere Tower, Las Vegas
While the tower itself isn't necessarily beautiful per se (although it is pretty nifty), the views of the famed Las Vegas Strip, as well as downtown Las Vegas, are stunning, indeed.
