‘Tis the season for Buffalonians to want to hibernate indoors all winter long. Just remember you can’t successfully hibernate without a full belly. The next time you’re wanting to stay inside and skip dinner plans, think again. These 8 cozy Buffalo restaurants will have you feeling the warm fuzzies and plenty full. Let’s take a look at where you can find them and a few of our favorite things to find on their menus, shall we?
1. Lafayette Brewing Company (391 Washington Street)
Lafayette Brewing Company is one of the most unique settings in the downtown restaurant scene. Not only does this place have a "bar-cade" with pinball machines, foosball, billiards, and more — they also have a killer menu. Our picks? The pulled pork nachos and a tall glass of house-brewed beer!
While this isn't your typical restaurant, Tipico Coffee has one of the coziest fireplaces around. What could be better than soaking in the heat from a wood-burning fireplace while you sip a hot latte on a cold Buffalo day? Our suggestions for your next visit: the biggest chai you can get and an order of Breadhive toast.

3. Hamburg Brewing Company (6553 Boston State Road, Hamburg)
This cozy fireplace requires a drive to the south towns, but we think it's well worth it. Not only is Hamburg Brewing Company beautiful, they also offer brewery tours and a full menu. If you really want to wow your taste buds, start with Tortilla Chips and Chicken Wing Dip and whichever beer you please!
Oh, Gabriels Gate. How we love thee. This is one of the best places for wings in Buffalo, and one of the most popular spots for Buffalonians to cozy up by the fire. It goes without saying that there's one thing you absolutely must order when dining here: Wings. Wings. And more wings.
Steak, seafood, and sushi — encore does it all! The menu at this restaurant will have you coming back for more, and the cozy fireplace will make you want to stay as long as possible once you're there. Their sushi is the talk of the town, but we'd also highly recommend the Steak Frites!
Be warned: This place might make you channel your inner Ron Swanson. Scotch n' Sirloin serves up delicious specialty steaks that simply cannot be beat in Buffalo. The cozy fireplace is an added bonus, as are the other menu items. Unlimited salad bar, anyone?
Milos is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Main Street in Williamsville and while not all menus are created equal, you'll certainly enjoy your meal any time of day here. Along with the main dining area, Milos also has a beautiful banquet room for large gatherings. Just remember the next time you go. When in doubt, order the Souvlaki!
The Roycroft Inn is a charming piece of history located in beautiful East Aurora, just south of Buffalo. A trip to the Roycroft should be on everyone's Buffalo bucket list, if only for the cozy fireplace and craftsmanship of the grounds. Do not leave without trying the Inn Made Truffle Chips. We'll happily accept your leftovers, should you have them!
