You probably know that you can take a tour of the longest cave system in the world, Mammoth Cave, right here in Kentucky. But you may not know that a doctor once owned the cave and used it as an experimental hospital to treat his Tuberculosis patients. You can still see evidence of this hospital today.

Next to the well-known Waverly Sanatorium is a lesser known park, Waverly Park. This is a beautiful property, but its location next to one of the most haunted spots around, makes it a uniquely creepy destination.
