2017 Trick-or-Treating Schedule for Halloween In Chicagoland

Trick-or-treat! Smell my feet! Give me something good to eat!

It’s that time of year when everyone is desperately trying to figure out what they are going to be for Halloween. On (and around) October 31 of each year, witches, werewolves, superheros, and princesses come out of the woodwork, demanding candy from door to door.

Get ready, because they are coming! Yes, there might be zombies. Below are dates and times for trick-or-treating in your area of Chicagoland. First, we’ve featured five great spots for sweets hunting, including the city itself, and below that is a full list of dates and times for 2017.

The Windy City is set to have its annual trick-or-treat night on Halloween itself. From 3-10 p.m., ghouls, cartoon characters, creepy critters, and more will stalk the neighborhoods in search of chocolate and sugar sticks.

This northwest suburb is a wonderful place to find all the best Halloween candy. Devils, ninjas, and jack-o-lanterns are allowed to knock on doors from 2-7 p.m.

From 3-7 p.m. on October 31, this village in the west suburbs will be a trick-or-treating hub. Watch out for black cats, ghosts, and other frightening faces.

North of the city, this suburb is hosting its trick-or-treat event on October 28, which is great for a pre-Halloween weekend of free candy. You goblins and grisly goons can take to the streets from 2-5 p.m.
