With Halloween right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about the spookiest ways to celebrate the season. For Michiganders who love a good scare, this one-of-a-kind haunted park in the Great Lakes State is absolute must-visit. Stop by and visit for yourself… if you dare.
Niles Scream Park is located at 855 Mayflower Road in Niles.
Situated on 44 acres of land, this spooky park comes to life each fall with all sorts of haunted attractions that are sure to send chills down your spine.
This is no ordinary Halloween park — in fact, Niles Scream Park houses five separate haunted attractions, each of which is professionally built and designed.
Start your experience in the Niles Haunted House, which features countless scares in an ever-changing atmosphere. Dodging ghosts and demons, you’ll be frightened in the most fun way possible as you make your way through the home.
Next, check out the "Possessed" mansion, which allows visitors to stroll through a house that’s full of spirits summoned via Ouija board. Talk about terrifying!
As if that weren’t enough, the Scream Park also features an on-site "abandoned penitentiary" that’s full of bone-chilling excitement. Enter if you dare.
When you’ve made your way through the on-site buildings, try your best to navigate the "Field of Screams," a spooky corn maze that’s brimming with ghosts, classic movie killers, zombies, and more.
For those who are really seeking a thrill, opt for the "Hooded" experience. This 18 and up attraction requires guests to be blindfolded, completely alone, and at the mercy of actors who are allowed to touch guests. You’ll even have to sign a waiver before venturing into this section of the park — seriously.
Admission costs vary based on the attractions you’re hoping to visit, but one thing is for sure: once you’ve survived this terrifying Michigan park, you’ll never be the same.
Sound like something you can handle? If you’re brave, you can venture to Niles Scream Park every Friday and Saturday in September, as well as every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October (and Halloween night!). The park remains open through the first Friday and Saturday in November. For more information about cost, hours, and attractions, click here to visit Niles Scream Park’s official website.
