We know, there are plenty of charming towns in Connecticut. We know many of you have heard of Chester before. It’s on the map. People know it’s there. But, can we really say Chester gets its due? Despite the high level of awesomeness permeating the town, lots of people don’t know just how amazing Chester is. Here, we’ll fill you in on just why Chester is worth a visit.
Chester's history stretches all the way back to 1692, when it was a northern quarter of Saybrook. Remnants of the colonial era exist to this day.
Like most small towns, it has its own quirky traditions A tractor parade is always part of the annual winter carnival.
