Get extra spooked inside Albert Knight's Factory which was buried underground for many years after a devestating fire in 1923. Now, see what unearthly dwellers call this place home... and give you a spook as you explore the factory.

Woods of Terror has been selected as one of the 'best haunts' and if you're in the Piedmont...this is a guaranteed bet for a good spook. Go through the 'horror movie classics' attraction to see who you recognize from your favorite thrillers. Or terrifyingly enough...the 'arachnophobia' section that will bring out all the inner fears of 'creepy crawlies from spiders to bugs. This haunted attraction is more than ghosts, clowns, and ghouls!
7. Camp Fear, Hiddenite
What is a seemingly innocent, family-friendly campground by day turns dark and creepy by night. Camp Fear tells you to 'face your fears' as you roam through all the terror that awaits you.
8. Stoney Point Trail of Terror, Fayetteville
While Stoney Point may have all the 'spooks,' it's actually an annual fundraiser put on by the local fire department. But don't think a good deed takes away from the terror capability. This spooky haunted house takes you through the 'mansion' and then into the forest where you'll be faced with an assortment of various terrors from clowns, monsters, and creepy creatures.
9. Pinhead's Graveyard, Asheville
See for yourself why Western North Carolina's longest running graveyard is seriously spooky. This self-guided walk through the woods features some of your horror movie favorites, like Pinhead, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Leatherface.
10. Midway Wicked Woods, Statesville
Midway has been operating for 20 years..so it's safe to say they've got their scares down to a science. They claim 'their clowns are dying to meet you.' EEEK.
