This beautiful treehouse is just off the grid, but still close enough to many of Kentucky’s charming small towns. If you ever had a treehouse in your back yard as a kid - or ever dreamed of having one - then get ready to relive your childhood dreams in this remote treehouse hidden in northeastern Kentucky.
Built by renowned treehouse builder Pete Nelson, the house provides all of the comforts of home, but completely off the grid. It has the appeal of camping with the luxury of a hotel, and all in a picturesque area of Kentucky, situated near many vibrant small towns.

The treehouse is the perfect size for a couple's getaway or a small family retreat.
The cabin-like house is surrounded by a beautiful deck that connects to the house with several windows and doors. You'll feel as if you are one with nature, no matter where you are on the property. The main large doors open up all the way, allowing the fresh air and the quiet sounds of the forest to lull you into relaxation.
The interior of the house is well furnished and not what you'd expect in a rustic treehouse.
The bedroom (which does require a flight of steps to reach), has a king-sized bed and then there are enough couches to comfortably sleep four children or two other adults. There is no TV and no internet, so mentally prepare yourself for some true peace and quiet.
The wrap around deck will surely be your favorite spot to hang out.
There are well-marked trails to hike and you can even book your own tree-climbing experience when you book your stay. There is also nearby horseback riding for even more adventure.
