These 10 World Records Might Be Crazy... But Michigan Holds Them All

Being the best at something is no easy feat, but somehow these Michiganders not only succeeded in being the best, but also in being the best in the world. Check out some of these record-breakers.

Michigan Tech University

In 2013 students at Michigan Tech University broke the Guinness World Record for the largest snowball, which measured in at 32.94 ft in circumference.

Also in Grand Rapids, Gilda’s LaughFest organizers broke a record in 2011 when they managed to get people to toss 925 rubber chickens into the air all at once.

A World Record for Attendance at a Hockey Game was set in 2010 at "the Big Chill" at the Big House in Ann Arbor when more than 100,000 people came to watch Michigan play Michigan State. Needless to say, Michigan won, 5-0.

Great Dane Zeus of Otsego took the Guiness Book of World Records title for tallent dog in 2012 and 2013. He measured in at 7 foot, 4 inches on his hind legs. Sadly, this dog went to heaven in 2014.
