Smith Lake is located in Cullman, Walker and Winston counties. It's hailed as the most beautiful lake in the Southeast.
Smith Lake covers approximately 22,000 acres and has 500 miles of shoreline. Its maximum water depth is 264 feet, which is almost unheard of.
From boating and jet skiing, to fishing and swimming, this lake offers several recreational opportunities.
Smith Lake is the third cleanest lake in the United States, which is a huge reason why it receives so many visitors.
One of the best times to experience Smith Lake is at dusk. During this time, you'll have the opportunity to watch the most incredible sunset.
