1. Dine inside a cave.
Located in Tuscumbia, Alabama is Rattlesnake Saloon - one of the world's most unique restaurants. What makes this one-of-a-kind restaurant so incredibly unique is the fact that you get to dine inside a cave-like structure.

2. Visit a rock zoo.
The Rock Animal Zoo, located outside of Scottsboro, Alabama, features animals created from limestone and colorful paints. This isn't your typical zoo.
3. Take a drive through Alabama's quirkiest museum.
Butch Anthony's Museum of Wonder, which is located off the beaten path in Seale, Alabama, is filled with some of the strangest things you'll ever see. A unique feature of this quirky museum is the drive thru. You don't even have to leave your vehicle to enjoy this famous attraction.

4. Place a banana on a space monkey's grave.
Miss Baker's grave is located at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. She was the first animal from the United States to fly in space and return alive. Over the years, many people have left a banana on her grave.
5. Visit an exact Stonehenge replica.
Bamahenge, located near Barber Marina in Elberta, Alabama, measures 21 feet high and 104 feet across. This measurement makes it an exact replica of the famous Stonehenge in England.

6. Stand on the world's smallest city block.
In Dothan, Alabama, at the intersection of North Appletree, Museum and Troy streets, is the "World's Smallest City Block." This property was once a service station, and today it includes a street sign, a stop sign, a yield sign and a granite marker.
7. Visit a haunted playground.
One of the most haunted places in Alabama is Maple Hill Cemetery, located in Huntsville. Tucked away within a group of trees is Dead Children's Playground. Supposedly, the spirits of children that are buried nearby come out to play on the playground late at night.

Gravity Hill is one of Sylacauga, Alabama's most well-known attractions. It's located west of Alabama US 280 on Gravity Hill Road. When a driver pulls to the stop sign and puts their car in neutral, it's mysteriously pulled uphill. Or is it an illusion? Many people continue to wonder how this happens.
