The cabins are on the natural embankment of the Mississippi just off of the Great River Road at Highway 52. Boats are welcome, here. There's a public boat launch nearby and plenty of parking on site. You can even leave your boat docked for the duration of your stay for an additional fee.
These cabins are even pet-friendly.

Dubuque and Bellevue are close by if you need groceries and you could always cook what you catch while fishing, here.
To get here from Dubuque, just take Hwy 52 South to Bellevue. Moon River Cabins is located on the left near the river on the south side of the city.
If you are coming from the west, take Hwy 62 east toward Bellevue. At the T-Intersection on Hwy 52 South, turn right. Moon River Cabins is on the left on the south end of town.
