There’s nothing like an ice-cold milkshake on a hot Iowa summer day to refresh, relax, and recharge you. Luckily, Iowa has a restaurant that is unique, fun, edgy, and happens to serve the most creative and delicious milkshakes in the land.
The Trick 'R Treat is a vanilla ice cream based milkshake with caramel sauce. They swirl in Kit Kat, Butterfinger, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and chocolate cake batter. If you want a little extra kick, the mixologists at ZL will gladly add chocolate vodka to your shake.
Nothing's too weird, here. Yes, those are Fruity Pebbles in that milk shake. Yum!

Zombie Burger + Drink Lab is open every day from 11am until midnight. Friday and Saturday nights, they stay open (with a full menu) until 2am. In Iowa, where most places close or at least stop serving real food by 9pm, this is amazing.

These shakes are the ultimate twist on a childhood treat.
This is just a little combination of white cake batter and vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and pretzels. Order it spiked with vanilla vodka if you want.
It's the Bottom of the Box Cereal Shake and it's delightful. Vanilla ice cream, Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Rice Krispies (can you hear them?) and marshmallows. Like the other incredible shakes on the menu, you have the option of adding a bit of somethin' extra: vanilla vodka.
It's called the lunchbox. Vanilla ice cream gets a dose of peanut butter and grape jelly. The garnish? Animal crackers, of course.
