The Most Terrifying Ghost Story To Ever Come Out Of South Carolina Is Truly Chilling
When most people think of ghosts in South Carolina, they think of the historic old homes, inns and restaurants much publicized as haunted. It’s true, the Palmetto State is a hotbed of paranormal activity with occurrences and sightings in many places. But you seldom hear of an entire street that’s haunted.

The reports coming from Onyx Lane entail almost nightly hauntings at around 4:00 a.m. when strange noises occur both inside and outside the homes.
When someone asked the woman whose home was built right in front of the old cemetery if she'd experienced anything weird, she affirmed with this story:
She said she had in fact been awakened almost every night to the strange sounds. And one night, she woke up at four o'clock in the morning to hear growling out front. At that point she wasn't aware there was an old cemetery out there. She went out to see what was up and saw approximately a dozen dogs in a circle, most of them growling but some whimpering. She thought nothing of it and went back inside.

After confessing this to her neighbor she learned of the covered up abandoned cemetery in front of her home and said it all made sense.
Since the state paved the road recently, only one report has been filed on the website. It was from a former resident who was curious if the state had paved over the tombstones or around them. She drove over to Onyx Lane and said they appear to have been paved “around.”
Are the mysterious hauntings still occuring on Onyx Lane? We’d love to know, wouldn’t you?
