With a span reaching from 1812-2007, Colebrook Store is the oldest continually operating general store in the state. And in 2014, its 195-year-old history was restored when it opened its doors once again. It’s still a general store at heart; you can drop by to grab some groceries or snag some fresh baked sweets made right at the store. But now you can also sit down for a meal!
This video will give you even more of the details, along with some scenic shots of the surrounding area. You won’t believe how perfect this place is! The Colebrook Store is located at 559 Colebrook Road, Colebrook CT 06021. But this store isn’t the only restaurant in Connecticut created from something else. Check out the seafood being served from this repurposed boat, or the homestyle meals at this scenic barn. You’ll love the setting as much as the food!
