There is nothing quite like a charming old time Christmas celebration… Sure, the modern day holidays are fun too with the elaborate lights, television specials, and online shopping specials, but lets face it: nothing compares to the simplicity of carolers, candles, and handcrafted gifts, which is exactly what you will find at this old world Colorado Christmas celebration:
Located in Golden, Olde Golden Christmas is a 31-day celebration that features beautiful lights...
...fun parades...
...visits with Santa, art displays, and a whole lot more.
While we love all of these traditional Christmas festivities, our favorite Olde Golden event may just be that of annual Candlelight Walk.
"Experience the beauty of the holiday season as you walk down the main street of Golden, candle in hand, singing holiday carols," states the City of Golden's website . "This hometown Candlelight Walk offers an old-fashioned way to start the season of lights and is open to all."
In addition to the old-time Candlelight Walk, Olde Golden Christmas offers a number of other Victorian-era events including carolers, hayrides, and much more.
(As if we REALLY needed another reason to love this event!)
Olde Golden Christmas runs throughout the month of December. A full list of holiday events can be found on the City of Golden's website .
